9 Months

Unfortunately, Kieran was pretty sick on his 9 month b-day. The entire week, he was sporting a 102 fever, spiking to 105 at least once a day. The poor little guy had his 9 month check-up on that Monday and checked out just fine, just a virus (he did have a fever that day though). As the week went by though, apparently he had early stages of an ear infection on top of a very bad virus. Luckily, it wasn't a true infection and we got the meds before it got worse. By Friday, he was back down to 102 and dropping.

As I'm sure many of you have experienced this before, talk about scary! Kieran handles being sick really well, he plays and carries on almost like normal even with the 102 fever, but the 105 was awful! He was miserable and it broke our hearts.

Mommy and daddy took 1/2 day shifts, taking turns going into the office and working from home. It was tough but it worked out. By the next Sunday, Kieran was pretty much back to his old self. Of course, that is when mommy got sick and is still sick! Talk about an exhausting 2 weeks! Anyhow, here's our little guy trying to be a sport for his 9 month pics, before he really went downhill.
